poor picture quality from dish network

  • i am getting poor picture quality with dish network due to band width compression and would like to register my complaint and would like a site to do so and talk with others who are having the same problem.

  • WOW! thanks for the very prompt response - we have a dishpvr 501 system, the signal strength on sat119west is 125 & on sat110west it is 91 - i have jumped through the hoops as requested by dishnetwork, switching receivers, going directly to the monitor from the receiver instead of running it through my sony str444es with a 32 bit digitial cinema sound processor, their (dish) tech support have admitted the transponders are overloaded and they are trying to launch new satellites to eleviate the problem, they also have stated the problem is with the larger tvs, we have a 34" hdtv (it is not as noticeable on our 27") - what chaps me is i pay for a quality picture and have not been getting it now for over 6 months - i know the overload has been caused by dish having to put local channels in their system, i would like to turn up the heat from a suscriber(s) stand point and also write the fcc - thanks for your help! sincerely, m2
