I'm going to be 13 soon, and I'm wondering how I can increase my height other that just sleeping (because, for some reason, I hate sleeping) Genetically I have a long leg height and short torso height, so is there any way i can increase my torso height to be more than 2 finger widths?Stretch every morning and never smoke cigarettes (they can stunt your growth).drank milk <3 :)Unfortunately, we have the genes we were given at birth and, at this point in time, we can do nothing about it. We are who we are.
That said, there are operations that are done to help dwarfs grow taller. This is done because it is medically necessary for their health, to prevent life threatening pressure on vital organs. But I can not imagine anyone in normal health electively having their long bones broken, the bone put into a traction set up to keep it from closing, and wearing that for 2-3 months while the calcification hardens between the ends of the break, and going through all of that pain just because they want to be taller. Not only that, usually this process has to be repeated several times to achieve any real increase in height (more than 2-3 inches).
Be happy with what you have. Don't let society determine your self worth or your self image. You still have growing to do. Wait and see if Mother Nature surprises you. :)Plenty of protein (meat), calcium (milk) and zinc (red meat, oysters, mussels and nuts) will help your potential growth and a deficiency can stunt it.since you are about to be 13 you still have a lot of time to grow.but dont eat as much bad foods for you.im 14 and just last year i was short but now ive gotten way taller.so just let time pass by then you will see the results.drink milk!remember that your only 13 and you still have a fair bit of time to grow no one grows really tall just over night eating loads of protein and getting all the nutrients into your diet could help and also excercise a fair bit to strenghten up your torso#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
