==================================================[ START ]====
Well let me start of with that I am stocked up on diapers probably until he outgrows a size 2. But when it comes to buy a size 3 here is my dilemma. I pretty much LOVE how soft the Swaddlers are. By far the most comfortable diaper I have found for my son. Turned me off of Huggies completely and I used to be an avid Huggies mom before I tried the swaddlers. However, my fiance and I got a membership to Sams Club (in case youre not in the US, those stores that sell products in bulk) in order to save money on formula (only to find out that they do not sell Soy formula, only regular and gentle) and to save money on diapers (usually $40 for a pack of 200). However, the Sams by me only sells Pampers Baby Dry and Huggies Snug N Dry and ONLY Huggies wipes (which makes me mad because I LOVE the Pampers Sensitive wipes). Wipes I do not mind buying at Target or WalMart because their prices arent too far off of Sams but only for wipes.
Now for a size 3, as much as I love Swaddlers...is it worth it to still buy those at WalMart until he outgrows it or should I just buy the Baby Dry at Sams. I absolutely hate the Snug N Dry huggies so I wont be buying those at Sams at all. Just buy Luvs.the highest the swaddlers go up to is 2-3. We have been using those the most out of the previous sizes so far. After that go to Cruisers at a size 3 because it has more elasticity which is better because your baby will be on the move by then probably.i dont know.. the baby dri leaked really bad for us and the cruisers have been awesome.. i guess everyone is different. i thought huggies supreme were awful and my nephew uses those well. they should just make swaddlers thru potty training. they are the best. I have a Costco membership (similar to Sam's Club.) I am able to get 224 Size 3 Huggies Snug N' Dry for $37.50 + tax. And I get 832 Huggies Naturally Refreshing wipes along with a regular size green wipes box and a small travel size wipes box. I am absolutely satisfied with both selections!
However, whenever my son was sick and had diarrhea for a week I splurged and bought Huggies Natural Fit diapers for extra comfort and Sensitve wipes.
I would suggest going with the cheaper kind of diapers. Since you like Pampers over Huggies buy the Baby Dry. It will save you a ton!i have hardly ever seen pampers swaddlers size 3- i have only ever seen siz 2-3 which is nto as big as a full 3- but i like pampers baby dry as wellCheck out www.diapers.com. They have all brands in the huge boxes and if you use this code you get $10 off your purchase of $49 or more as well as free shipping on orders over 49. And when you sign up you get your own code to pass around!! Code = LISA4311 Anyone can use it!
I plan am wondering the same thing as you... Swaddlers or Baby Dry. I am dealing with my giant box of Huggies Snug and Dry Size 1-2 and we'll be out in a few weeks so I'll be reviewing the other answers you get!!I have used the Target brand of diapers for all 4 of my children. They are very inexpensive and work very well. In my opinion, you are paying for advertisement and fancy packaging for name brand diapers that you just throw away. Target sells all sizes in what they call Mega Packs and are approx. 40% cheaper than name brand. Buy cruisersI LOVE the swaddlers!! they are by far the best diaper out there!! Expensive but never leak!! and so padded!!!
What i do to save money is buy luvs for daytime use or shoppers drug mart (no name brand) They are very very good. They are almost comparable to swaddlers but swaddlers are a bit more padded. they are more padded than luvs.
I use luvs and shoppers no name brand during the day and use swaddlers at night for bedtime or when we have to go somewhere in the car and she has to sit for a while (like shopping).
Hope this helped. (i hate huggies too)We have had the same issues. I would say try buying a smaller pack of the Baby Dry and testing them out. Then if you like them you can save and buy at Sam's, however if you don't you save yourself the money and frustration of having to go through 200 pampers you hate!#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
