==================================================[ START ]====
  • im 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant, im due october 18th.
do you think just because im real young im going to have problems with my delivery?
my pregnancy has been very healthy, i had no problems with anything.
now since im getting down to my due date, i've been thinking about things going wrong!
    :/
i just want a healthy baby with no problems.

  • good luck and don't think about it this way every body is differnt, i didn't have easy deivery but at the same day i had my child lots of young ladys was talking about they very short easy deivery and one of them said was only 20 min hope same for you

  • I was 15 when I got pregnant with my daughter and had her at 16. I had a normal healthy delivery chances are you will too! good luck

  • Trust me, your age has nothing to do with things going wrong during labour.
Your body wouldn't have let you have a complication free pregnancy if it wasn't capable of delivery. Our bodies have ways of letting us know if they're in trouble.

  • You will more than likely have a normal delivery. If you had a healthy pregnancy. Also you will be there with your Dr and they will take very good care of you! It will work out don't worry so much you've already done the hardest part!

  • just cuz your young does not mean anything. your body has undergone many changes for you to have this baby. it should be fine good luck mommy to be

  • First off - IGNORE the ppl who come on here to bag out and tell you how disgusted they are in your situation, you don't need to hear that!

Secondly - I know plenty of young mums, who some, were as young as you when they had their first baby, and they all had very normal healthy pregnancies and babies!

In some cases being younger your body is (in some ways - not all) stronger and healthier and prepares easily for pregnancy!

So, my opinion - YES i think you will have a very healthy labour and most importantly a healthy baby!!!

Good luck for labour and the future!

  • You will be fine. Between the drugs and the new technology, deliveries are usually a normal procedure to any doctor.

Think about this...during the middle ages & the renaissance, girls were married to men at the age of 14. They also died very young, as well. My point is that if your multiple great grandmother could have your multiple great grandfather at the age of 14 you will be able to give birth to this baby.

Are you keeping it or giving it up for adoption? Or, are your parents going to care for the baby? And, how will you support this child? Are you getting welfare to do it?

Sorry for the questions but my sister was pregnant at the age of 16. So, I can appreciate your situation.

  • First off, it is extremely upsetting that you are only 14 years old and having a baby. Its disgusting and sad. Both that you have had sex at such a young age and that you weren't smart enough to use protection. At any rate, if you have had a healthy pregnancy thus far, I wouldnt worry about problems now. Worry causes problems. BUT - you never can tell. Some people have very complicated pregnancies then go on to a perfect delivery and some have very good pregnancies and end up having still born or very sick little ones. There is NO way at all to tell. Just try to stay healthy and do what the doctors tell you to do. If *god forbid* something does go wrong, doctors have been delivering babies for a very long time, and they know what they're doing.

  • Back In High School Not Too Long Ago, There Was A 13 Year Old Junior High Girl Pregnant. She Delivered A Baby Boy Successfully. I Have A Friend That Had Her First At 14, And She Did Well As Well. Don't Worry, You'll Be Fine. Good Luck!
    *ASH*

  • hahahahaahahahaha wow

  • There are plenty of young girls that have had very healthy babies! Good luck!

  • no worries.
    thousands of young girls
    have had babies.

if you have seen the doctor before
she/he would of told you if they thought something could go wrong
or about any concerns they have.
so if they havent then dont worry
these doctors know what they're doing.

and if anything does go wrong,
plenty of doctors will be around to help
    and fix it.

  • Your baby should be fine,
    if theres anything wrong
    your doctor should know how
    to deal with it,
    good luck
    have fun with your new
    bundle of joy.

  • I think you will be fine just keep calm and GOOD LUCK
