Im declaring bankruptcy & my car is secured to a loan. can i drop it off instead of them towing it away?

Do call the bank and ask, and if they want to pick it up, put it somewhere else for them to pick it up from, like a parking lot or McDonalds -- then your neighbors won't see anything going on . . .
Even if they did see a wrecker come to pick it up, you could always say it was a lemon and you got tired of it and got rid of it.
