I am Muslim but I really do not like other Muslims, I find most religious people of all faiths to be intolerant, hypocritical, self righteous, arrogant, ignorant, narcissistic people. I agree.Yeah i do, except you of course :) and my boyfriend is religious! So its a difficult one, i have to be careful what i say, HOLY CRAP or GOD SAKE, i have slipped up quite a few times, he's really cool with it though, we keep it seperate, he doesnt try to convert me he just accepts that i believe in what i wantI do not dislike religious people in general, I do however dislike religious people that try and shove their beliefs into you face, for example Jehovah's witnesses, if I wanted to learn about a religion or faith I would go out and look for myself, I don't need someone coming knocking on my door trying to give me a book and not accepting NO as an answer.
I also don't like suicide bombers (Islamic fundamentalists) as most of the time they are affecting people that have nothing against them or their religion, just to make a point, but killing innocent people is not good in any gods eyes, but I suppose if there is a heaven and hell, they will hopefully rot in hell and not what they think ! That would be good !I agree!!! Religious people have lost touch with reality! They are living in the past. And to begin wars over religious differences is insane!
Religion is the root of all evil.Oh thank god theres somebody who feels how I do. Except I'm Catholic, but I dont like to admit it.I respect people who are religious but don't take it to the extreme. I am Catholic but I am not extreme. Of course, I try to be a good person but I don't always obey the bible such as waiting until marriage to have sex.. I didn't wait! I have a lovely friend who is Muslim and he practices every day and I find him amazing really. So, to answer your question I don't mind religious people at all :)I think religion controls peoples' opinions and filters out their true beliefs.
I think religion is just an easy way to have an opinion without forming one of your own.
I do find ultra-religious people too critical and close-minded.
I find it funny when people who -have- a religion are doing the complete opposites of what they are supposedly being taught.
i disagree with you and agree with daniel espeically his second paragraph
many muslims lived fairly peaceably here in the uk when suicide bombers struck public buses involving many people who had never done them any harm in their lives
the indiscriminate nature of such acts proves that it isnt a 'war' for 'political reasons' - i object to our hard earned taxpayers money being used to give people like that dole money to bring up their 16+ children whilst they are plotting to undermine the above country - whatever you say i have evidence and have met people who will state their aims as being the above. they dont give a monkeys uncle about our country - they are here purely to force the uk into becoming a muslim country.
history will show with the brits that we tolerate so much THEN WE FIGHT BACK - so people who make the mistake for tolerance = weakness bewareQueen Elizabeth I said it best, "There is but one Lord Jesus Christ, the rest is just trifles." That sums up how I feel about things. Religion, in and of itself can either be a good thing, or a bad thing, that depends on the individual.
I've met a lot of people who, while not traditionally religious, were some of the kindest, most decent, helpful people you'd ever be lucky enough to meet. On the other hand, I could name a whole bunch of "fine, churchgoing folk", who, once church lets out, could give a f**k about anybody else, other than trying to show off, or preach to them.
In a nutshell, what's between me and God is between me and Him, I don't feel like I need to put on airs and wear fancy dresses to church every Sunday and do the "look at me" thing to get into heaven.
I also don't feel like God meant for women to be treated like mindless property, and that's where a lot of "traditional" religions frustrate me. If God meant for women to be nothing other than baby factories, well, I reckon I'm a big ole letdown. :) That's all right. I think women are worth more than that, and, most men who have the sense God gave a billy goat do, too. If they don't, then they ain't worth the time of day.
You have that right for the most part. I don't dislike religious people. I do dislike them when they try to push their religion onto me, or when they try to use a government to force me to conform to their ideas.
Then I dislike them whole heartedly and enthusiastically. This is simple generalizing again. Each individual person on this planet is different from everyone else, if they have the same faith or not or even have no faith at all. Even twins can be different.
If you dislike religious people, then the very first person you should dislike is yourself, followed by your family. Don't point the finger at the rest of the world maybe you should look in the mirror and see what you really are. i don't because i am religious and it says in the bible not to judge othersI don't hate religious people, but I hate it when they try to drag you into their religion, you know? And when they criticise other religions, are hypocrites and intolerant.
That's what I hate.Islam is a disaster, we have about 2,000,000 Muslims in the UK, this is the biggest disaster in our history. I do not like any religion but Islam is the worst I fully agree with what Churchill said about Islam.
Churchill would never have allowed millions of Muslims into the UK and there was nothing racist about ChurchillI dislike people who are very religious and/or shove it in my face. I think more of a person if they can form their own morals and thoughts without some book telling them how to do that. There's good & bad of all religions... however to push your beliefs (politics, religion etc.) down somebody's throat is just rude....Hi I just like to say that i agree with you but there are a family living up from me who are religious and they can't do enough to help other people they are really kind and friendly people but other religions can be ignorant, arrogant and overall disowning. If you were to do something that maybe your mother and father did not find acceptable they may disown their children like for example if a pakistani woman has an arranged marriage and they don't go through with it they are literally kick out of the family and their name will be mud and they will have no family and will move to a different country like the uk, get married to the person that the love and then set up a lively-hood such as a small shop or business and make something of their lives.
Religious people are scared of not being in charge, they will loose their pride and won't feel important unless they can be in charge of family, politics and so on. Many religions these days are only out for money in other word commercial purposes. By the way i was a christian for 14 years i am only 19 now but i have given up with all that christianity mambo jambo because it has always given me nothing but a life of hell to be honest. I am not religious in anyway i am actually something commonly known as atheist that means no God no religion and nothing religious to stand in my way. I went to a secondary church school what a joke, money grabbing b*****ds the whole lot of them. I hope my answer has compared well with your question and i hope that more questions about what I think about religion will appear again. I am glad to have basically written all my feelings down so everyone can see.
Thank you

You can call me Jone'zee okay.you only dislike muslim arabs(from some of your questions)...anyways you can avoid them if you hate their company(no need for all this hate declaration!).
and no i don't dislike religious people...i may disagree with some of them but i would never avoid them nor hate them.....god made us all different...i would however try to stop them if they force wrong things on me and people in general....but most of them aren't like that.
good luck & peace.Islam which uses idiots who believe in lies about "virgins" to sacrifice themselves in a disgusting way for political reasons is the worst.
I dislike the fact that we now have millions of Muslims in the UK but this was a political mistake of Titanic proportions; individually I do not hate Muslims but I do feel sorry for them.
I feel the same about all religions except Buddhism which accepts atheists like myselfreligious people ?muslim religious (fundamentalism) are intolerant, hypocritical, self righteous, arrogant, ignorant, narcissistic people.as you say.
abut war,what war?
With a passion. I only like the ones who don't shove it(religion) down your throat. Which is an extremely slim minority of them.but you support suicide bombings.how can you say killing innocent people 9/11,madrid,london etc is the same as a war.you are being all of the above you claim to hate. NO
personally im an atheist, this is my choice.
But i respect that if anyone chooses to follow a religion that is there choice. each to there ownNo I feel really jealous of them, I converted (or we're supposed to say reverted) a few years ago, and its just made me feel lonely, no one accepts me I sometimes think I'd be better off 'reverting' back into a typical english woman! The thing is muslims are by their nature bengali or pakistani or what ever and close knit in their communities. I'm hardly religious at all though, I find it so hard to learn anything as there's no asians where I live and if I start to think more of it by reading or watching lectures and stuff I just feel really lonely cos no one understands me then. I feel jealous of peole who are free to practicetheir faith and live i a community where that is normal, (good even) Although I think God probabaly made me like this cos I'm naturally a rebelious person so if I'd been in a muslim family would have probably turned against that!Ok you asked the question and I have an answer, I hate Muslim's...each and every one is hypocritical and every thing that you have said yourself, its quite true, if I had my way each and every one would be removed from America and the UK and put in Afghanistan and so on where they belong, with no way of leaving! I don't feel sorry for the women, they are just as bad as the men.The Qu'arn is just the Bible been twisted to suit man sexual needs, and I could really go on but it wont get me any where. sorry if it offends anyone but he asked!No... I think everyone is free to have their own beliefs and opinions as long as they don't impose those beliefs and opinions on medude.. read your question again! so your saying your what you don't like!? i think religious people are all good! no matter what faith! i guess you don't know much good people.. figures! i agree with you to a point. i have worked with people and all they will talk about is religion. they seem very self righteous and are constantly judging how others live. they seem to think because they are religious they have more morals than non religious people. i believe we all have the right to worship whoever we want, just don't bore everyone talking about it constantly.#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
